Well Dale, that’s basically because we have our ex-hookers as dating therapists in these here parts boy… Where else can’ya go but a strip club or a Vancouver date and the girl will be, like the lady said ‘’obvious flirting. Look and smile, glance ((like you said, ‘check’in your wallet for the appropriate content’)) and walk away’’…. Less’in of course, your will’in to pay.

You see their, boy… It’s the feminists and the hookers that are running this here dam town! One’s teaching the young’ns selfishness while the other’s teaching’m exploitation. That’s why you see so many of us good old white boys chasing after them foreign jobs now-a-day (not the bananas tho, if you catch my drift).

Anyways, you ain’t likely to find what we would call ‘good quality women’ from these here parts, or at a hook up like diss…

I agree with Erics comment about many Vancouver women treating finding a guy like shopping for shoes.

When I first came to Canada from the U.K. I remember telling my sister that women here seem to approach finding a guy like shopping for a car. This car (guy) is OK but it has white leather upholstery and hmm Im sorry I'm really looking for beige.

Also being seen as a wallet on legs isn't usefull either. The strange Vancouver mix of being strong independent women, yet when it comes to dating, 'wanting to be treated like a lady' code for man pays or he's cheap and not getting a second look.

In my opinion, men might be hesitant to approach women because in the era of online dating, women treat finding a guy to date like shopping for shoes. It is my sense that they are looking for perfection, and have become way too picky. It's easy to try and find someone "better". As a result, they are less open to genuine attempts by guys to get to know them, making guys in turn more hesitant ... and to be honest, pissed off. Women in Vancouver need to get off their white horses.
