What is Dateology, the Dating & Relationships Symposium?
Dateology, the All-Vancouver Dating and Relationship Symposium, will be held on October 30th, 2011 afternoon.
What is Dateology?
Dateology is an exhibition and showcase of all the dating and relationship, and related, companies in Vancouver who have anything to do with dating, either directly or by happenchance.
Now for the third time, all matchmakers, speed dating companies, image consultants and stylists, dating and relationship coaches and consultants, sex therapists, clothing companies, confidence and empowerment coaches, authors, experts and more will all be under one roof and showcasing themselves to you. Who is “You”?
You are the great single guy or gal who just haven’t been lucky in love. You are the sincere cool person with so much to offer, if only you could meet that special someone. You are frustrated-at-being-alone and finally wanting to take life by the reigns and will do whatever it takes to jump start your dating life and fall in love.
Dateology promises to be a feast for you, the Vancouver dater’s imagination where you’ll discover that, not only is there hope for your love life, there are people and services out there who have been where you are now and want to do their best to guide you towards relationship bliss.
And sitting beside you at Dateology will be other singles, eligible men and women who want the same thing you want; to meet someone new and ignite that spark and chemistry.
On October 30th, 2011 at 3pm sharp in the YWCA Hotel (733 Beatty Street, by West Georgia Street), you’ll make your way into a large beautiful ballroom, arranged with a stage at the top of the room and lined with tables showcasing Vancouver’s dating and relationship companies around the perimeter.
We’ll start with general introductions and a welcoming will be made, then you’ll be treated to a number of 6 to 11 minute presentations from different companies that will either educate, inspire, or excite you (or all three!) about dating.
Last, but not least, we’ll follow the presentations with door prizes and announcements and then open the room up for mixing, mingling, and networking with other attendees (if you see that beautiful person across the room, now’s your chance to introduce yourself) and with the represented businesses (got questions? Ask away, they’ll be happy you did).
Doors close half an hour after the last presentation. Dateology will be over. Just in time for Valentines.
*Note: As we will be in the Moxies restaurant, feel free to come early with your friends and have dinner there beforehand and you are welcome to join everyone for food and drinks after the event in the restaurant.
